Im loking at an induction mod a s first step

Ive had a search on the site but just want a few peoples opinion on the aem v2 - anyone fitted one/recommend it

Its either this or a spoon drop in, I cant fork fork out for a mugn box or similar!

AEMv2 makes a nice noise I know that.

It is considerably lighter than the stock box (what isnt?!) and it takes air from below the rad, near front grille.

My only worry would be water and deep puddles due to my all year round and high mileage use. I don't think anyone here has ever had problems with that though.

There are a few people here who have the AEM v2

 

I've got a V1 and it's noisy as hell...

only thing i've noticed is a drop in economy because i floor it even more!...

 

i am going for the spoon one as i didn't like the idea of water coming in.

 

i'll take my chances... i don't think the likelihood of fully submerging it is very high!...

 

Hmm - think I will get the aem, I dont live near a river so I should be OK
