Air con didnt appear to be working, so booked in for a re gas, guys have come out to do it, pressure tested the system and said its fine loads of gas in there, but the compressor is not kicking in as it should it does when you start the ac but then turns off.

They reckon there is some kind of temperature sensor in the system that is at fault- reccomend sending it to the dealer to get a diagnostic done.

Does anyone have any clues as to what this could be? Past experience?

for the ac compressor?

i think it must be temperature related because the compressor starts for about 20 secs when you flick the a/c on then shuts off. The green light is also on inside the vehicle and stays on.......

Colud also cut out due to system overpressure. You need an AC expert and the wiring diagram for the AC.

 

anyone got a wiring diagram for the ac then? or the car wiring diagram?

Would be an idea to download the manual as it's got all the diagnostic stuff in it as well. Somebody posted a link a few days ago.
