My insurance wasn't up by that much - See the other thread on Insurance.
I finally sorted out the remote bot release. If I de-alarm the car and then hit the key fob again for 1 second whilst the de-alarm light is on BINGO- opens everytime now.
Sam.

""Honda Get the Hump
S2000 is more secure than suggested
Oh dear. It seems Honda are a bit miffed. Following the recent launch of the Government backed New Car Security Ratings (NCSR), there have stories elsewhere in media (not here - we
were down the pub when that story broke) about the apparent ease with which the Honda S2000 can be broken into and stolen.
Honda is standing up, waving its hands in the air and shouting at us to point out that this adverse publicity was caused through the publication of inaccurate data by NCSR. In its five star rating
system, the Honda S2000 was credited with just a single star both for "theft of" and "theft from" the vehicle.
NCSR now acknowledges that this rating, as well as those of some other vehicles, was incorrect "due to a data transfer problem". What a larf! It seems some of the stars fell out of the
computer and down the back of the desk when the report was being prepared. The correct ranking for the S2000 should have been three stars for "theft of" and a single star for "theft from".
NCSR has since corrected its data, and published a press release dated 31/07 of correctly categorised vehicles.
"Security protection is a subject which we take very seriously at Honda and accordingly the S2000 is equipped both with state-of-the-art rolling code transponder immobiliser and a
Thatcham approved CAT I Alarm," says Honda
