Hey,

My alarm/locking stopped working properly earlier today.

I have a MY99 fitted with a toad cat1 alarm.

When presing the key fob to open and lock the car the immobiliser/alarm is swtiching the alarm on/off but not locking the doors however when I have the door open it also locks the door....

Any suggestions appreciated

The alarm is choosing when it wants to work with the keyfob but most of the time I have to lock it with the key and then swithc on the alarm....

could I have changed something when installing my K&N GEN II FIPK?

 

check the connections to locking control box in the drivers footwell
