Default Alarm and Key

Hi All,
I've scoured this forum and the manual but I haven't found the answer...

How can I stop the alarm going off if I only use the key? Simple enough question I would have thought.

(It's a UK registered 2005 S2000GT)

Cheers
Bob

Well it's just annoying having to have two things on my keyring when one should suffice. Anyone tried one of those keys you can get off ebay that lets you put the remote into the end of the key?

I agree…..I had the same problem when one of my friends thought it would be funny to hide the other part to the key.
When I opened the car with just the key the alarm sounded and I could not turn it off until I got the fob back.

There is a D-shaped black box under the bonnet - excise, place on floor and hit repeatedly with hammer until silent.

This also works effectively on "mates" who think they're "funny".

The alarm has never been "standard" on the car at firat the H&P aftermarket ones were fitted, then Honda Uk fitted them before delivery. Ego seperate key and alarm fob.
