Default Alarm question.

If you have the top down and alarm set, should it go off if you lean over to go to the glove box?

Cheers.

Depends on the model. My late MY02 has a switch that detects whether the hood is up or down. If down, it switches the ultrasonics off.
For those without the switch, you just have to press the alarm activate button again, after the 5 flashes to switch the ultrasonics off.

Yes!

Press to activate (Flashes 4 times) then press indented button (Flashes 3 times). This will disable motion sensors in car but car is still alarmed.

Mine must have the switch like eibutler's as the alarm doesn't go off when reaching inside, I guess I should RTFM a bit more.

Thanks guys.
