Default An Alarming Question?!?

Noticed today that when pressing my lock button on remote fob the car locks although there is no visible sign of this I.e no indicator flash or 'beep beep' noise as I have had with other cars??

Just wondered if this was correct, half expected at least an indicator flash!

I have to listen really carefully to hear the lock noise or physically check the door handle.

Indicators flash on the later cars, is this what happens on the earlier cars? Anyone?

No alarm on mine. TFFT!

The usual three flashes on the 'Lude. Or a missile strike on Syria; it's tempramental.

Earlier cars should flash when armed.

The FAQ has a link to the manual https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/301...st__p__5798518

The 2 button fob flashes but the 3 button (non-alarm) doesn't.

That's interesting, so I have a 3 button fob so does that mean there is no alarm on the car?!? I thought Hinda fitted a Cat 1 as standard?

Should flash 3 times when locked and 1 long flash when unlocked.
