Mine does exactly the same since I bought it - when I took it for last service they told me it definitely has an alarm but wanted 100 quid just to diagnose the problem... That put me off straight away.. If you ever figure out what's wrong, please let me know - i posted about it a while ago but i don't think anyone really likes to reveal much about how the alarm works for good reason...

 

Thanks Shane, glad to hear i am not the only one - will have a word with Honda service manager and see what they say about it??
