I used to live in fleet, and I've never heard of them.

Will call him now. Thanks for the details.
He's a top bloke. Very respected on the Honda Type R forums.

I dont trust honda, with the reputation they have gathered regarding geometry, they will differ from branch to branch.

Here was my experience or have a look for Boab01s thread about a different Scottish dealer and their problems with decimal points

When my car was lowered on stock toe arms (non adjustable) I was toeing out massively. Made the car VERY twitchy.

I then swapped to the Megan rear toe arms (adjustable) so I could drag the toe back in (to about half a degree).

It's the passive rear wheel stearing people talk about. Lowering and adding these arms gets rid of that and makes it more predictable (for me) when powering round corners.

They can have all the flash kit in the world but if the tit operating the kit doesn't know what difference a decimal point can make then particuarly in your car they could send you off in a deathtrap.

Do not go unless you can convince them that any work has to be under your supervision.

Your best bet though is to go to an allignment specialist with the settings and ask him to trim the car with you or your weight in the drivers seat.

Having seen and heard what dealer alignment is, and then having seen and heard what Chris F does, I would make the effort. How about seeing if he can come to you? You might even get him for this coming weekend. See if you can get a few people together for a meet. I reckon getShorty will be up for it - he is in your area (Reading'ish?) I believe.........two more and you are there!

GavS2000,

We recently had Chris Franklin of CG come up for the weekend; he did 12 cars including mine.

Chris.

1. Can't get it to Chris. The car is way to twitchy for that kind of distance.
2. TGM are over a week wait.

You could always find a local cheapo tyre place just to do the "tracking", which will at least get it driveable. Then go see CofG.
