Default alignment

hi,new owner here.
ive recently picked up a 2003,37k miles, silverstone etc etc.

anyway ive put 2004 17" wheels on and want to get the geometry checked...it doesnt always feel quite right, although ive no past experience of the S so i could be wrong.
any recommendations in south yorkshire? should i just go for the standard settings in the owners manual?

thanks...
mike.

Try searching on the forum. The new search engine is actually quite good... sometimes.

The firm that have generally been acknowledged as the best for S2000s is one called CofG or CG or Centre of Gravity etc. Based in the east mids, they are only a bit more than an hour away.

Alternatively, Chris (Mr CG) has been known to bring his trailer of tricks to a flat surface near you for an alignment meet. Get in touch with the local outpost of the owners' club and see if they have a meeting planned and/or if you can raise enough enthusiasm to organise one yourself.

Although I have not had mine done yet, we shandy drinking southerners are waiting for The Woman to organise the alignment meet that she promised us for August / September

Definitely check out CG. Had mine done there last week and it has transformed the car and made it feel much more planted and fluid. I didn't think the car would need doing as it is less than 3yrs old but turns out all 4 wheels where mis aligned and not doing what they should.
Chris is an expert and almost OTT about precision. Much better than giviny you PAJ to a honda monkey IMO. Oh and welcome!!

Centre of Gravity, Chris is excellent transformed the "feel" of my MY05, and have the adjuster bolt bushes checked and lubricated at the same time, it's a classic problem for the S and an expensive one to correct.

Just to clear up the misunderstanding.
The company is called "Center Gravity Limited". There is no "of" .
Think of it as a command for you to: Center Gravity
