Alignment Bolts.
Now that we're keeping the new car my plan is to get the bolts greased really soon, is there a way I can I pop these out and copperslip them, refit and then get the alignment checked/set a few days later, or should I book the car in and give the fella a hand to remove/grease/refit the bolts and get him to set it up right away.? Just trying to save a couple of hours labour.
Thanks. What I meant was, can the alignment go out when I remove the bolt/s to grease them, or does something else move.? Don't want it to be miles out even for a short time between greasing and getting it on the ramps and set up. Ta.

The alignment will be out after you remove and refit - you need to mark the positions before you remove them and refit as close as possible. Get it properly aligned asap afterwards.
Use the markings as a guide, get them all done and then drive straight to Geo

I was wondering a similar thing. I use my car daily for an 80 mile commute.
I'm planning on fitting coilovers at some point in the future but to save some of the pain when I do, I was going to remove some bolts, one at a time beforehand, grease and replace over the course of a few weekends.
Question is, what can I do beforehand without taking something off that means geo needs urgently doing?

Don't forget to bolt them back up in postion with the suspension under load!
Never occurred to me but obvious when you think about it...
