Alpine Dash controls
Hi everybody i know i have seen the answer to this question before but i cannae find it
I am putting in an Alpine 9855r head unit and want to know if its better to stick with the Alpine dash controller KCE865B or is there not an aftermarket one that lets you double up functions with the mode button ?
If there is a better choice than the Alpine controller what and where can i get it ?
All help will be greatly appreciated
PS what door speakers are best / easiest to fit into a 2005 dont want to cut door cards.
Cheers

If you follow the link in my sig, you can contact either Countdown or InCarTec about their solutions. Certainly my Countdown supplied unit lets me use all the dash controls, including the Mode button.
I still get the odd annoying jump in function from my kce865b. I woudn't buy another one. I was having a look at Alan's (His&hers) system and he uses the Modifry unit for his Alpine and ipod. Lots of functionality including moving folders using dash controls and it turns the volume up automatically when you go faster
$50 apparently including postage. Modifry posts on this site if I'm not mistaken

And good functions as well! I didn't think he shipped to the UK (or is that Lucid?)
It's Lucid that doesn't.
Bob (Modifry) is a very helpful guy
and I've also noticed that he's just released an Alpine version of his DCI which plugs intot he 3.5mm sockect raher than using the IR setup that his DCI used to use. It would now be my first choice becuase of the functionality that Neil describes.
