Default amp wiring FAQ?

Be looking to install a amp wiring kit very soon, as i like doing things like this myself, is there any guides anywhere

try google, but its pretty straight forward buddy

run the negative wire to a grounding point, the positive to the battery, the 2 rca plugs from the back of your radio to the amp and the remote wire to the amp from the radio, and obviously the output from the amp to the sub

Hi Craig,

I found this link a while ago, great for telling you where to run cables.

Not installed an amp yet myself, but I'm looking to sort that out soon so this guide should help me with it if I decide to do it myself (getting a quote from an installer as it maybe worth getting them to do it properly - I don't really have the inclination to get my hands dirty with electronics all the time )

Craig - I've got a sub, sub box and amp for sale that fits neatly into the well in the boot. Easily removable as well.

That install guide was VERY useful, now i know exactly how to do it i love doing this sorta thing, taking my time making sure its all tidy ha ha.

audio shops just bang it in anyway they can to maximize profit,
