Amuse Boy......
Not photoshopped, its the light against the rear wheel arch. In pictures I've always said those alloys look to small for the car. Need to actually see the car.
So Nick, any improvement in performance? I would expect as these are lighter that the feed back you get through the steering wheel is even less than the UK stock RIMS?

Actually, IIRC the car was dropped off the jack & not actually set up for those shots! It is sitting a tad high.
In reality, the fronts look slightly larger than the UK wheels, conversely the rears do look slightly smaller, which is an odd optical effect. The smoother powder coating makes them easier to clean.
Chris,
The steering feel is probably fractionally improved by the reduced gyroscopic forces, but it's hardly any different. It's more the steering is better, feel is still a tad numb, but I think that's due to either the bushings or the electric rack.
There is a tangible benefit in damping performance, though. At low speed, the ride is a bit more unsettled (similar to before I fitted the chassis braces)
At really high speeds on bumpy roads, the difference is definitely noticeable. The rear end hop seems to have dissappeared, turn-in is sharper, the car tracks truer, adjustability is improved. All by minor amounts, but it just seems as if the car has come 'together' like it should have been in the first instance. The ride is improved too.
It is just so chuckable, I am really enjoying driving it at present.
Nick - I thank you sir for posting the pics.
They do look very good indeed. Wheel gap? I thought the car looked slightly lowered at first glance.
Another question for you - have you noticed any difference in the way the car handles?
Many thanks.
