Anti Roll bar/Geo question

Anti Roll bar/Geo question
Hi All,
I just purchased an AP1 and want to take the car for a full geo setup and then install a Eibach Front Anti Roll Bar.
Is this wise or will installing a ARB mess up the geo? shall I just install the ARB first and then take the car for a geo setup.
Thanks in advance.

What I would do is get the geo set up as the car is now and see how you go, you may find it is perfect for you as it is. the early cars had thicker ARB's I understand so you may find you could be swapping it just for the sake of it.
welcome by the way

Save the money on the bar and get a proper geo done...chances are you might have some seized bushes...

I have read good reviews on the Eibach so that why im thinking of getting it. It 32mm, I have the standard AP1 which is 28.x mm.
I pick up the car this week and i want it drive like its on rails. I read that having a thicker front ARB will help with the oversteer on the AP1.
Can anyone advise on a good Geo setup, what the figures should be?

Thicker front ARB will shift the balance towards understeer, but the general thoughts around here (although some will disagree) is that the rear ARB on the MY00 is a bit too stiff, hence the 'interesting' limit handling. Honda never fitted such a stiff rear ARB again, on any MY. The MY00 front ARB is already pretty stiff, so you might want to think about reducing the rear instead of increasing the front, once you've got your geometry sorted.
I've upgraded my MY04 ARBs to the a 00 front and a CR rear (couldn't find an 02 rear, which is similar). Seems to be plenty flat enough through corners, but then I also have stiffer coilovers.
Don't forget that stiffer ARBs actually decrease grip, as they prevent weight transfer. What they increase is the ability of the car to react to requested changes of direction, and keep the contact patch less variable with cornering load.
What is the actual driving effect you want to have?

From what i have read the MY00 front ARB is what you want so i wouldn't change what you have. As others have said i would look at swapping the rear one out from something softer like a MY04 car.
First off i would have a decent geo done and see how you like the drive. After all, swapping the ARB wont affect the geo so you can always do it after if you don't like the drive.

Thanks lads. I will have the car by the end of the week. I have just been reading up on things and want to remove the rear nervousness that i keep reading about.
Let me see how it is but you have given me some valuable info.

So now im thinking of leaving the MY00 front and adding the MY04 rear, we would give me good neural
