Nice! I'm expecting to see MX-5 to beat that S2000. We'll see it next week.

It's a F22C spark plug cover or at least the colour refers to AP2. They do fit F20C, though.

People think MX-5s are very light when they are only 100kg less than an S2000!

It'll be very close and the onus will be on Moog to get a good start. If he gets a good start, TCTC, otherwise the Mazda will take it.

Is this a new mx5 ? if so. Only going to keep up because it has a turbo. or if fitted on a old one.
If the new s2000 had one. See ya. Like pretty much any car these days really.
still tho, I'd rather have a s2000 over a mx5 anyday of the week. I think there cheap looking things even tho it's gd value for money.

Well, they have NA that has a custom turbo kit made with small turbo of subaru forester, with custom mapping and makes somewhere around 200hp at the wheels. Car has some other mods, such as chasis bracing and rollcage at the back, some other minor mods that probably not gonna matter at the drag strip.

As someone who owns an Mx5 (currently forsale) and an S2000, who has driven an Mx5 turbo - the S doesn't stand a chance in a drag race. That said, I could have bought a Turbo or fitted one to mine, I bought an S2k. There's much more to it than outright pace.
