Sorry, I know it is fairly well of fthe topic of sports cars but does anyone have any reccomendations for a decent small van?

Renault Kangoo springs to mind but I am not sure why though...

I suspect the answer is that it doesn't matter as they are all sh*te!

Needs to be cheap, diesel and small (escort van size).

I saw an Astra van with steelies tucked under the roof bars and a Nurburgring sticker on the boot yesterday

Do you mean a small (ie not high-sided) transit van or a car-based van (i'm no expert, but it may also help with recommendations!?!?!
