Default Any UK car changed tyre from the Bridgestone S02 brand and improved their car

Just about to swap all 4 tyres again, thanks mainly to Don Palmer and my renewed confidence in this car's behaviour near the limit.
Wondering if anyone has moved away from the tyre designed around the S2000?
I am not that impressed with the S02, pretty limp in the cold, especially in icy conditions.

Having read various tests where the Eagle F1 is getting heaps of praise I may go for a set of those, especially as I pass beyond the comfort of the warranty.

Interested to hear any horror stories as well as any improvements.

Cheers,

James

I for one would also like to hear about people tire options / performance issues. With winter fast approaching and my car even faster approaching ( ), I am getting alittle nervous about driving in the wet / ice especially after hearing about all these rear wheel spinouts in adverse weather conditions.

I changed to Eagle F1's after I lost the back end of the car coming off of a roundabout in the wet.

The F1's are far superior to the S02's in the wet and they are pretty good in the dry too.

Cheers for responding Steven.
Apparently one of the salesman at Crown Honda who will be servicing my car next week has Eagle F1s on his motor too and may even be willing to let me have a quick drive in his.
May also tackle the re-alignment to UK 02 spec after I bed in the new boots too.

I've also got F1's after I lost it in the wet in a big way on the motorway.

Did a very wet track day in the wet and was amazed how good they were.

Problem with the S02's I found was that they were crap as soon as they started to get worn, and that in the wet on the motorway I ended up driving at 55 mph !

I've kept me old S02's for trackdays...
