You already have one Italian Red Head - why not get yourself another?

Yup, those Ferrari's are pretty bloody shoddy - but still don't think you should get rid of it

Was just sitting next to guy at lunch who restores Astons, Bentleys and Rollers - he was bemoaning how god-awful every Ferrari he has come across has been, and related a customer story where bloke went out to turn off alarm, triggered by water leakage, battery was dead, he couldn't get out of car, and had to kick out window to escape

Alfas have high depreciation because the reputation has stuck from when they were awfully made, but I think anything made in the last 10 years has got over those problems and is now pretty well made

I think the current Ferraris are much better built.............the Testarossa isn't too bad but you don't get a 'thunk' when you shut the doors and the engine cover pretty well crashes into place

with the older Ferraris, they are really not up to being daily drivers but also suffer being treated too much the other way i.e never used.....they need to be used regularly or they suffer

Don't count on it!! I have loved my Italian cars, and my '96 Fiat Coupe 20v was pretty reliable for 80,000 miles and 5 years, but I really wanted an Alfa GTV. Both the cars I looked at in the show room had trim falling off. I have a friend whose 156 JTD is 36,000 miles old - she really loves it but the front wheel bearings are going

I know of people with problems with BMW heaters, VW trim etc. etc. I beginning to realise that reputations that stick, stick for a reason. Just compare MG Rover and Skoda.

... thank <insert deity of choice here> for Honda, otherwise I'd be driving a Toyota
