The GTR's ability to pull grip out of off-camber and high speed corners is mesmerizing - quite how many people have the dynamic driving capability to make the car really work I expect is relatively low but just look at the way it makes space.

Yes, very impressive driving. The owner is a French guy and actually posts on here over in the more international boards.

I've started following him on youtube. He has some cracking videos. It does highlight the need for more straight line speed in the s2k though!
I think if anything, it emphasizes that even on a track like that, there's little call for more than about 250bhp for 75% of attendees.

It also goes some way towards showing that with proper brakes, tighter suspension and a proper set of tyres, the S2000 is a formidable platform.

I totally agree, the only place it's let down is when it hasn't got the legs for the long straights - seems to top out @ ~200kmh

I also read a few of the comments and really like his choice of wheels (Prodrive CG-07J) to allow the "proper brakes" you mention to be fitted

I'll hopefully have a decent lap to post when I'm there in 2 weeks.

Blimey, that looked seriously quick, great driving. That's more how I'd drive the ring on the Playstation, don't know if I'd ever have the confidence to drive like that in the real world

Nice lap, personal highlight was him getting smoked out by the dirty diesel

That was indeed very impressive driving, he could have gone even quicker if it wasn't for the hold ups. The M4 driver though is clearly a novice, braking going down the foxhole and too early going up out of it.
