thats exactly what I've done and I've run the cable up behind the botton of the A frame trim and left it tucked across the top of the dash. The sat nav lead is now effetively hard wired so I'll need to get another lead for the other car - I dont trust the cheapp fleabay lead I bought as it is unfused and i don't know the output...
