Default Apexi safc ?

Are these any good for s2000 (53), with a few mods exhaust, induction.

As i know they can run lean would this be any good to bring the air & fuel ratio back in check, also going to be running wideband with guage.

Do you mean VAFC? If so, they can be used for limited tuning - PM s2konroids.

They.can be purchased from other vehicles, but bear in mind that the harness may have been somewhat botched.

Bump Anybody know more about these gizmos.

would i be better off getting VAFC, dont realy want to mess with the vtec but if it has the same functions as the SAFC could i use the VAFC instead and not mess with the vtec range ?

Yes you can get a VAFC and just leave the vtec setting stock, the new SAFC NEO can control vtec as well though.
It's not that hard to get this info from google but here is a link with a quick comparison for you

Thanks Flanders,

I would like to know of real world experiances from guys that have tried them on S2000 in the UK, it would be between VAFC or SAFC2 as these are availible to me second hand.

In not sure safc can alter vtec I'm sure it can't, vafc2 can alter fueling (lean out mostly).

I would only get a vafc2 or apexi neo.

Your going to want to drop vtec it's an important worthwhile addition.

Read previous posts by me.

Thanks for reponding

The SAFC dose not alter vtec, i was not botherd about messing around with the vtec thats why i was looking into the SAFC.

So Im going to be looking out for the VAFC2 or NEO

When you say " Your going to want to drop vtec it's an important worthwhile addition. " i take it as droping the engagement point ?

Let the reading begin !!
