Default Audioleads multistalk

Hi,
Does anyone own a pioneer headunit and have the audioleads harness and patch cable.

I currently have a JVC but just bought a pioneer one, but im confused does the box of tricks need to be different?

Does anyone have the part number?

Cheers

Go to halfrauds buddy.
I think on the pioneer they use the sony one as it works with both.
I ordered mine and it arrived 2 days after.

Did the dash controls work with the pioneer? - you have a pioneer right?

Yes they did mate.
Halfrauds called it a stalk adaptor.
I think it was around £25 but its worth it.
It is 100% a Sony part that works with the Pioneer as Pioneer dont manufacture the part.

I've got a Pioneer head unit and the stalk adaptor. Works ok. I don't recall the part numbers off the top of my head.

One wierd thing is that you have to wait a few minutes for the adaptor to 'warm up' or the volume control on the dash goes all schitzo when you try to use it. You need to eait like two minutes.

As far as I know, if you have the autoleads box of tricks for the box of tricks (PC99-X61) you can just buy the patch lead for the appropriate head unit manufacturer.

The main (expensive) part is whats relative to the s2000, the cheaper patch leads (about £6) differ with the various manufacturers.

This may help:

Hi thanks,

Yes i have that box but a JVC patch cable but apparently they are the same.

Looking at this you'd think it wouldnt work for a pioneer, look at pc910

I bought mine from Car Audio Direct and IIRC the patch lead is the same for Sony, JVC, Pioneer and a few others. And I'm pretty sure you get the correct bolts.... ;-)
