I agree with Mark.

Even though I subscribe to EVO, a lot of what they write gets up my nose. They'll sing the S's praises in one article, then slag it off in another. I suspect the Porsches flatter their driving a bit more than the S does. As for "tail happy", I think this is nonsense. I've only had the back end go light on me twice at speed, and that was at seriously scary speed which was expected.

As for badge snobs, well plenty of people shout out in the street "nice car mate" or rubber neck at the car, so who cares about badge snobs. After all these are people who love Merc's when in a lot of other EC countries they're used as taxi's !

 

I agree Dean, I think the S is a superb handling car and have never had the back step out it seems to have fantastic rear end grip.
BTW Dean do you know what time Meadow Hall is open to tonight. I need to make a purchase after work?

Don't know how relevant this is but Watanabe san sitting across from me says that for JDM the 2.2 litre will be an additional model, sold along side the 2.0 litre. He wouldn't tell me anything about a tin top when I asked , just had that annoying "You'll have to wait and see won't you." smug sort of look.

 

 

Who is this Wanatabe you speak of - is he a Honda person from Japan?
