Default Does it get any better?!

Drove into work this morning..........gorgeous blue sky, not a cloud, top down, nice quiet country roads, plenty of VTEC, stereo up load, singing my heart out (must have looked like a right muppet but I don't care.......I was enjoying myself!). Arrived at work with a huge grin on my face!. I like my car every day of the year but this is when ownership really comes into its own..........bl**dy fantastic!.

I'll shut up now.......

PS.......still saw loads of other convertibles with lids up!. WHY????!!. Their loss though!.

It looks lovely out there. I'm stuck in for a while. Hence timewasting.

It amazes me how many convertibles are driven with the roof up and window part down. They are extremely oppressive in good weather like that.

Why buy a car that is so structurally compromised if you ain't gonna use it?

PS Must put roof up sometimes. Car is full of dust again.

That always make me wonder too (why people leave their hood. I was driving down the coast last weekend and it was the best day this year, yet I still saw loads of people with their top up. Just how hard is it to put the top down on the likes of a MGF or MX5?

Agree with everything you say - makes getting up to go to work a pleasure!

Does it get any better????......well, yes, actually it does........all good blue sky, sunshine, fine music, stuff, but add into the mix a destination like Goodwood on Festival of Speed weekend - stunning scenery, lots of wonderful cars on the road shareing the experience with you, and the prospect of a fantastic day out at the end of the drive.

Now it really doesnt get any better than that!

Indeed, I pop the hood down even if I'm just going on 5 min journey. No point having a soft top and not making the most of it!
