The Z4M is a fine car. Razor-sharp engine. a LOT of power - obviously quite a lot faster than the S2k (and even distinctly quicker than the SLK 55 was). Haaaard ride. Twitchy at over 120mph (on private airfield of course....).

Quality control not quite what it should have been for the money. I hung around all the Z4M forums for a while - have a look at www.zed-cars.eu and see what problems folks have had over there (particularly Pete H).

The looks? In the eye of the beholder. For me? Stunning form some angles and ugly-as-f*** from others.

Put simply, I bought the car for the engine and it didn't disappoint. The box is OK but a bit crunchy if treated hard - nowhere NEAR as good as the box in the S2K.

I gotta say, I do genuinely prefer the S2K. But for you? The Z4M might just be the very ticket!

I considered both of those before I supercharged my 4th S
When you get get the itch for more power have a look at a SC'ed S's
