that won't help then... you've effectively got less tyre on the road now. There's a write up in the FAQ about it somewhere...

It's the Toyos they are absolutely useless. Stick to the OEM tyres if you can get them.

Try 245/45-16 on the back (makes a BIG difference in my experience)

How do you know? The point is the amount of movement that would be a slide on stiff sidewalled Bridgestones is just "normal" on floppy Toyos. If anything you're reacting too fast, probably because you're used to Bridgestones. "Just turn and go" is what you get from having stiffer tyres.

The size comment is about the old 225 S02s being squarer and so more like 240mm, but they haven't been available for donkeys years. So you haven't reduced the width of tyre by sticking with 225s, unless you did come from ancient S02s.

I have this on new Eagle F1s. I won't fit them again.

Terrible for first 500 miles, then settle down.

I know because the back end properly lightens up, it doesnt just feel "wobbly". Feels like if I was a bit more aggressive I'd be drifting/spinning out. In fact I nearly did round the first couple of quicker bends.

Saying that they are starting to calm down I think, or I'm getting more used to them. But if they're still not ideal in a couple of months I'll replace all 4 with something else..

Well, you need to get out more then!

As I've said, even a change to the Porsche-spec S-02s makes the car very fun to drive in a stupid way.

Some soggy mess like a Toyo is gonna ruin the balance entirely. The squirming unevenly loads the (narrower) tread and that is the result.
