I was driving a full set of SO2's on 2.6mm during a spell of tropical downpours last year and the concentration required to keep the car on the road was immense.
Makes it more challenging though, and hence more rewarding I find.

A good feature of the S in may ways

Mine rears are worse than that at the moment, really must remember to get some new ones ASAP.

if one side is wearing significantly quicker than the other side, you might want to get an alignment done. Or check your pressures, or check your geo.

They will always wear on the inside first. It's a good idea to check tyres often on the S - it can eat them, and you need tread on Jockmeets!!!

Thanks I'll have to look into getting it checked. You must have had Kwik-Fits last 2 as they said it would be 2 weeks!

Try Jim Dixons in Cumbernauld. He has better contacts than Kwik-Fit, will treat your wheels with more respect and will probably be cheaper.

A number of us have used him and can recommend him. He does a lot of sports cars.

If you do go there, let me know and I'll give you directions. It's a bugger to find.
