Battery
Hi,
I think my battery might be on its way out.
After not driving the car for 2 days, today i lowered and raised the roof with out turning the engine on first!
After that it wouldn't start and i had to jump start it.
Was that just my stupidity of not starting the engine first or should a decent battery still start the car after doing that?
Thanks

Lidl are selling smart chargers at the moment, £14. I've been using one of these for a year now and its revived batteries I've almost
given up on.
Lowering the roof without engine running is expecting a lot of a battery.

These are really good, they are a CTEC rip off. I've been using one for 4 years plus.
I get on better with my CTEK MXS 5.0 rather than the Lidl ultimate Speed 3.8 (the older version of the one they are now selling). The Lidl one does indeed charge batteries well - what it doesn't have is the "conditioning" mode that the CTEK MXS does.
