battery charger
so where's the sensible money spent on battery chargers/conditioners?
im in need of one reguardless, but im also having a few battery issues on my S..
budget is £30-50 area.
i'd prefer one with an ammeter on it

Ctek stuff gets a good rep, recommended.

CTEK chargers were available at Costco last time I checked, however if you can wait until Aldi do there next lot of car maintenance products you can buy the same thing (just not badged as CTEK) for around £14. Exactly the same moulding, graphcs, features etc.

I bought an Optimate 4 originally for the car which seems to function well circa £45.
Then noticed late last year the Aldi one mentioned above for the bike thinking £14 wouldn't be too much risk and it too seems to do the job.
Neither have a meter though.

Optimate stuff is good and reliable, another vote from me.
(I like the beemer idea too - theres a dedicated live post in the engine bay to connect it to, so you dont have to root about near the battery)
