Default Battery draw

Hi people, my s2k seems to be drawing 5amps all the time. I know the route of pulling fuses etc, just wondering if anyone has come across a draw of some sort on their car and what was the cause...

thanks!

That won't draw 5 amps...that's enough to kill you several times over!

Ok, granted...you would need more potential to get that amount flowing through you.

The boot light will not draw 5 amps though.

100% not the boot light, but thanks for that... 5 amps does seem really high, battery will go flat within a few hours.

Not necessarily. It depends on your skin moisture, where on your body it arcs/contacts and your unique bodily resistance to name a few

How are you getting on Paul? Any progress?

errr, yes and no. took out a couple of bits, a POS dension ice-link that never worked and my bonnet switch had corroded. got the draw down to 0.0026 which is good, but my battery is at 10v at the minute. on charge now so will post up later on.
