Yesterday I went down to Dyno Demon in Wirral to try out their Dyno Dynamics rollers, I have been told these are the "daddys" when it comes to rolling roads
Here are the results.
(click pictures to make them bigger)
Air Temp was 14 degrees.
Intake Temp was 22 degrees. (measured at the filter)
~16% Drivetrain loss.
Engine mods are Berk decat, Buddy Club dual exhaust and K&N FIPK.
The power at the wheels was what I expected, the power at the fly seems a bit low though from what other graphs i've seen. They calculate the drivetrain losses at this place not run them down so it's supposed to be more accurate
One other thing I noticed is the AFR is a bit lean in a few places, is that normal with light engine mods?
Your AFR is very odd. It should be a fair bit smoother and dropping to very rich at max rpm.
There is an 8 degree c differential temp on ambient versus intake, which on these dyno's can screw the results up. Alan from WRC tech was explaining to me how the maximum they allow is 5 deg c otherwise they dont count the result as genuine.
I would ask why they only took it to 8000 rpm though
mine did 181 whp on dyno dynamics, at stage ^ in the staes a few weeks back, i did not think it was too bad for 125k motor
mase said it was not to bad considering age etc, he said its normaly around the 187 mark, but check out the florida forum they have just had a dyno day and there are a few results on there, some low and some very high, scroll through pages and some of the results are there
