Sorry Pete, i was kinda joking when i said that.....the Supermeet 1 drive it was the best day i have spent in the car since owning it......and i should add it performed superbly!! We all know this car is made to be driven like many people did that day......and in turn many people don't get to drive that way on a daily basis....
I remember speaking to plenty of guys back at the shire hall on the sunday saying that the car felt pretty loose and that the drive home should be fairly subdued. No-one meant this in a bad way, just that the car had been given quite a bit of stick for most of day. Its no different to someone going to a track day and saying that their car took quite a bit of stick, etc....and from a personal point of view it'd be nice to have it serviced after the meet to pick up anything that may have occurred over the weekend.......don't see that to be a strange concept?!?
Everyone chooses how to drive throughout the weekend, so no-one should think for a second that the drive may be detrimental to their car??!?!!

I guess I had only had my car for a few weeks before Supermeet 1 and learned more about her in those 2 days than all the many minor trips in the weeks beforehand.
Far from being detremental to the car, the drive was incredibly beneficial - we got to know her very well and was very pleased indeed.
Didn't mean to worry anyone !
