Fortunately no one cars about the speed limit....
I cruised past a police car (which is a pretty uncommon site anyway) doing 120 km/h and he didn't even look at me.....
Usual cruising speed is 140km/h (88 mph) which is fine by me...

Mu favorite cruise was going down to Rutland Waters with Dave, Paul and AnDy PaNdY... that was a great run!
Wherever you go, remember to go through the gears regularly.
Dont just stick in sixth... make sure to drop down and give each gear a good run.
Before you know it you'll be dropping into 3rd and burning rubber.
Happy motoring

France has a punative fine structure so that if you were caught doing over 120mph you get an automatic night in the cells and a 4 grand fine payable on release
Failure to pay results in the car being impounded
Oh shit! Did not know that, not going to be doing that again. Did not think the fine would be as high as that, and night in the cells in not nice, but impounding the Honda - how would I ever forgive myself??? Cheers for the info though, going to France in a couple of weeks, a little slower than before though

My opening cruise to rack up the miles will either be to visit family (Liverpool, hope they don't nick it) or friends in a part of the world I haven't been to in ages.
Why not visit some old college / uni haunts? Don't want to wrap it around a tree so something straight forward to begin with should sort it.

Letchworth to Rochdale (up the A1) then Knutsford and back down the M6, M5 to Cirencester got me to 570 miles and the Old George Inn....and next to loads more S2000s (2 days after picking up the car too!)
