Best place to buy a battery in the UK?

This has been done before, think about it. A solar charger in the UK during winter when it's most needed, no Sun, heavy cloud, short daylight hours. I doubt even my domestic solar could provide enough power. If it's windy enough a marine wind turbine would do it today in Cornwall (60mph gusts predicted), but you still can't guarantee the wind either and they start at two grand with controller.

I read that the Yuasa was a decent battery so got one from Halfords today. Annoyingly the terminals are the wrong way round despite it being the correct battery of choice on the compatibility lookup table. Arrggh
I'm guessing the only solution is to take it back and swap it our or get a refund so I can get an OEM one from a dealer. I can get the neg terminal on but pos terminal won#t stretch across that far.
Am I missing something here or have Halfords screwed up with their compatibility chart ?
very annoying as now I have to fight my way back through the post xmas shopping scrum.

Product Code 548588 (halfords)
HAL SILVER BATT HSB053
£100.00
Is plug and play for the s2000 (slightly more expensive)
The recommended is the one with backwards terminals (Someone else confirmed this on a very simlar battery thread and post #12 on this one).

Halfords do give you the wrong one if you follow their chart, previous owner had fitted one and the terminals did reach - just. I've only replaced one and went Cox's for a genuine one, fast delivery and correct terminals - can't go wrong https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/hond...ery-2000-2009/

Had the same problem with Halfords, think they numbered them and recommended number 73.Took it back and found the same battery with the correct terminals number 75,May have these numbers back to front{it was a while back} but you will find the right one.

Recently bought a Bosch from Euro carparts listed at£140 ( no where sellers them at that price) normally around £100 for Bosch- they then had a 50% off promotion so only paid £70 which I didn’t think was too bad for a branded battery
