Default Are bits dropping off?

I seem to have lost the blanking plate that covers the tow hook on the rear bumper of my car...No idea when it happened, noticed it when the car was on the drive a couple of days ago.

Can anyone tell me how these are fixed on i.e. whether it is likely it has just dropped off or if some little sod has nicked it (along with my other half's Accord windscreen wiper that went last night)?

Any idea the best way to get a new one? Are Honda able to supply it colour coded and is it going to be expensive?

Thanks
Nicky

they just clip on. there's a little teather that's supposed to hold it in place if it pops out so it should just dangle there but i don't think it works too well. i've lost 2 so far.

they come colour coded from your local stealer and if memory serves cost around

About a fiver from your dealer for a new one. They fall off occasionally.

Phew! That's put my mind at rest, I was imagining it being an overpriced bit that shouldn't have come off!

Thanks.

They usually pop out when the bumper takes a knock - check for scratches/ chips (that's how mine got lost, only noticed the scratches next time I washed it ).
