Default Blingy engine parts ?

ebay throws up nothing. nor does internet searches.

I was after ideally a chrome or polisher radiator bottle / battery cover etc

Ive now removed my air box ( massive waste of space ) and fitted some SFS Performance rad hoses. Need to re powder coat my rocker cover and have a carbon spark plug cover coming.

any links would be great but cant seem to find much ?

I spent some time trying to get my engine bay nice and shiny for JAE this weekend just gone:

If you PM Kim-s2k I think he has some stainless steel chassis brace covers like the one I have above. Then I polished my rocker cover, got a shiny induction kit, some red vacuum hoses, and some dress-up bolts and bits from Tegiwa imports to finish off the details here and there.

I could carry on forever if I wanted too, if you keep on looking online you will find more, there are plenty of bits out there, you just have to keep on looking!

Less is more IMHO.

Do a search for bay shave/wire tuck.

That is something you can do yourself and will look amazing.

I've got this for my water expansion tank and oil breather/ catch tank, I think it's available in polished alloy but it's quite expensive.

Also, if you want a chrome expansion bottle. You don't have to get an s2000 specific one. There are plenty of universal ones that you could use. Or use one for something like a cosworth, they have loads of chrome things like that available. as long as you can make it fit in the bay ok then you're onto a winner.

I agree with nexus though, I'd love to do a wire tuck job, but from reading threads about it on the US forum, it's not the easiest task to perform. That's why as an alternative I'm trying to just make the components on show as clean and tidy as possible.

My mate and I did a Wiretuck/bay shave on an Integra.

Not an easy job (welding, grinding, fillering, painting, soldering, splicing etc etc), but it does look amazing.

Is the shiney something you really want or are you trying to neaten things up.

I really like a clean standard engine bay

A bit of both i guess. Just a very dark engine bay and fancy brightening it up a little. That shaved/tucked look looks amazing, but im not that skilled! Haha

Is there a write up or a guide for an engine bay wire tuck? I've always wanted to do it, but wouldn't know where to start.

I thought about it whilst my engine was out, 2 reasons I didn't do it, the amount of extra work needed to do the job right, and im anul enough without the wire tuck.

If you have a good look around the engine bay there is quite a lot of wiring that can be moved without too much work, for example all the o/s headlamp and other gubbins can be moved to between the inner wing and arch liner.plus other stuff can be hidden without too much trouble, under engine bay x members and stuff like that. It takes a determined effort to make a move like cutting and extending wiring.... It's not too bad for me because my engine bay looks like a bad hair day anyway.
