Default Boot Lid

Being a newbe with a nurby. How far does your boot lid raise when it is opened? Mine only raises about a foot and it's a 05. Should it open fully?

Should go up fully vertical at least!

Sounds a bit odd...

Do you mean when you push the release button? If so then that sounds correct, mines a MY07 and it lifts about a foot.

You haven't got anything in either side of the boot that the hinge is being blocked by??

It's the same with remote or internal release.

It should be, its the same popper thats opens the boot.
What you didn't make clear is if you meant just by popping the boot open or if you couldn't get the boot to actually open any more than a foot.
So yes your car sounds fine.

Mine used to pop about a foot in the air, since fitting the rear spoiler it only lifts a couple of inches, I'll have to fit the stronger springs methinks.

Going to be hard to see if it wont open though, looks like I'm local. I'll show you mine.....
You'll be able to see how easy it is for something to get in the way of your boot opening.
