Boot Rack Warning
I went to see an S2000 with a new buyer from the board yesterday, this car was fitted with a Fapa style boot-rack (I didn't check the make)
Anyway, the boot rack mountings were catching on the inside of the car, and had gone through the paint. The car had actually started rusting quite badly where this had happened.
I don't know if it was fitted incorrectly, but I just thought I'd better let you know. It's put me off buying one of these racks TBH.
BTW The car was a shed
It hadn't even been washed

Black 02 in Tyneside with full red in the autotrader.
Very low on oil, interior very worn for 25k miles, steering wheel not straight when driving, dirtiest engine bay I've ever seen and rust where the boot rack had been, very heavy clutch, a few paint chips round the doors, and it had the most horrendous rattles.
Could have been ok if the seller spent

he was selling it because it had too many gears!

That's almost as good as the guy who didn't buy one because the dash was too bright
