Default Boot racks.

Thinking of getting a bootrack for the summer to give a bit more room for touring with a tent and paraphernalia.
I know there are several makes but am wondering what is the best buy to avoid scratching and damage to the boot lid.
Any experiences please?

Most use Fapa racks which have rubber pads where thy attache to the car and also stickers tocover paintwork if you want.

I've not used the stickers and there's been no paintwork damage as far as I can tell.

I use the Fapa, I usually put some masking tape along the edges of the boot to stop it rubbing.
