Default Boot size?

I was just wondering how much room there is in the boot of the S - is it really small or is there room for more than a brief case?

Thanks

I don't think it is the biggest boot of all the roadsters but it ain't bad! Did I see 143ltrs mentioned the other day on another thread?

Got a briefcase (sits nicely in the lower well section which stops it sliding around ), a set of golf clubs, shoes and coat in there the other night still with plenty of room to spare! Oh, nearly forgot, that's with a CD changer in there too!

The main problem with it is the shape, couldn't get much of a suitcase in there but could fit lots of soft luggage.

one of those samsonite wheely bag things fits perfectly in the central drop. I also got all my shopping and a duvet in there the other day

- its a bit bigger than an mx5 if that helps.

This should give you some idea of what fits in the trunk--er, boot.

We get a whole weeks supermarket shopping in the S2000 boot !
If you ever get really stuck you can use the area behind the seats that the roof folds into - but don't put the roof down !!!

It is a small boot in comparison to most cars. It gets even smaller when you try to pack a lot in because the hinges get in the way of the useful space. You can create bit of extra space easily by putting the toolkit in the same place as the spare tyre.

Although it is small you can still pack a lot in. We've just got back from a three week camping trip. We had two tents, two chairs and everything we needed (apart from a table). It all went in the boot.
