Default boot spoiler

i am thinking of buying one of these ....no i am going to buy one,i presume that the spoiler is bolted through the boot lid if so the thought of going near the boot with drill me out .
does anyone know where i can get it fitted to a good standard.

you only have to drill 2 holes you should get some templates, dint be scared lol

Honda will charge about 50 quid to fit it for you if you are worried about drilling 2 holes.

I think you will find it is four holes!

There are two already "spotted" through the double thickness metal of the side of the boot lid. These come through from the top. There are also two captive nuts in the spoiler about 6" in from the edge that take bolts from inside the boot lid.

IIRC the spoiler comes with a template.

One tip - deburr the holes and cover the with touch up paint. I also put a little bit of silicon on around the thread to ensure it was water tight.

BTW strictly speaking you should change the boot opening springs. Though I haven't bothered on any of my S's.

I have a copy of an installation PDF file IIRC.

If you look under your boot lid you will see a hole on the outer skin at each end.

You drill through these from underneath. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to install.
