I only recently became lucky enough to have an s2k of my own (roughly 2 months ago) and I'm going to school for automotive engineering currently. This project is right up my wheelhouse so to speak. I can't congratulate you enough on your creativity or dedication! Keep it up good sir!
Thank you very much bud!
Enjoying your S2?
Jealous of your automotive engineering course!!
The race never happened, someone informed him of what I was doing and the extent at which the car will be able to perform when completed, he consequently backed out of the bet.
I got my car on the road on the Friday of the weekend that we were supposed to race, made it down to the show and was informed that he went down the drag strip and the best he could manage was 15.7 seconds.
The year before I managed a 14.7 with stock S2 and hard top on.
On that fact I decided not to risk my car down the strip, I knew it was faster than standard and I didn't feel the need to prove it. He looked rather relieved.
I plan on taking it down the drag strip at the same show 2015, I should have ironed out all the links by then hopefully.

Also noted that they have not linked anything to show it was yours. Maybe you might like them to?

The guy would threw that video together messaged me the day before and asked for some footage, I hastily filmed some crap stuff and I'm not best pleased with what I did.
I'm going to do a better one in the summer when the car is a little more refined and running better.
Not too fussed about it being recognised as mine yet, prefer the car to do the talking for itself, got my eye on a couple of show comps in my local area so focusing on getting ready for them as well as the power tour and ultimate street car.

Slight problem of the gf wanting to move in together so I've promised to save a deposit, set myself some targets to meet financially wise and it's going to be tough, but it'll be worth it in the end.

Hey guys!
Been a while, I've managed to get the forum blocked on works computer by being on it that much haha
On top of that tap stalk doesn't seem to want to play ball and then my Gf managed to fry my pc by streaming movies from nefarious sites.

But yes I'm back! Anyone recommend a good iphone/android app to access the forum with?

Updates on car:
Been quiet due to Christmas of course but it's go time again!

Fuel system is to get a full make over, I'm even in the process of making some fuel rails from scratch to suit the route I want to run the lines.
Previous(current) system is a returnless one with a fixed fpr.
Going for a boost adjusting return system and run it away from the exhaust.

Received confirmation that my wide kit is nearly done and should hopefully have it before the end of feb!

Wider wheels with maxxis ma-z1 tyres should come shortly after the wide kit.

Front 1/5th of bay frame work is going space frame style in order to relocate several things including the intake to reduce heat soak and make it tidier.

Other parts planned but if I try do it all at once I get over whelmed so trying to do it step by step.

Anyone who has me on Facebook may know about the uk power tour, I recommend everyone have a look at it particularly those with tinkered S2000's, be nice to see some more S2's there and meet a few more of you.

I'll hopefully find a way to get pictures up on here soon.

Peace out!!

Tapatalk is dead, for this forum. The owners have their own app. Search for IB Auto in the play store.

This is the wide kit
I need a return from the blue plug on that fuel rail but rear charger belt is in the way.
And these are the wheels I'd like!

As mentioned, these are the rails I'm making.
They're going to be an exact copy of what I already have with the exception of length, mine will be 20mm shorter.
They'll be getting anodised, most likely polished gold to contrast the black fuel fittings.
