Will they outlast OEM disks (from a rust perspective)?

My experience is that they will, though OEM are very good. My experience of the cheaper discs is that they rust more quickly.

Purchased two front discs from my local Honda dealer today for a few penny's over £118 - I thought that was a good price as I've looked all over online for OEM and nothing was close to that.

When I've looked at my discs today they do have lots of tiny cracks (very very small) due to heat damage.

Just in case you can return them,
£113 delivered from Cox Motor Parts http://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/genui...009-p-630.html

Probably with additional 5% discount if you are an S2KUK member.

I expect Si at Hendy would beat the £118 too.

Just an example, didn't say they were OEM, in fact after a quick serch I fouund Doctor car parts doing them (non OEM) for £32.37.

And the debat about rusting is a bit odd as they are all made fron cast iron, what ever they are coated with will soon rub off and rust if left for a while.

Read the last few posts, it'll help you put things into context, rather than just randomly joining a conversation.

No debate about rust,my Dixcels don't.

Sorry missed this. As Lovegrooa says. They will outlast the OEM disc. Considerably.

I run Delphi vented discs paired with DS2500's. Been on my S for about 7-8K miles, been on fire once or twice and they're grand. Fluid could do with a change to be fair!
