soft rubber seals treatment
I every one got a bit of spare time over xmas
looking at just making car a bit more perfect a bit anal really
but if I ever sell her its been done properly to a new owner
opened the boot and the soft seal that is on the bottom of the boot lid and any others seals like this can you coat it with a silicon type spray to keep it really soft to make it last and not go hard thanks john

Be careful some lubes can attack rubber, Vaseline for instance is not recommended except for flexible plastic seals.

An aresole of Holt's silicone & rubber spray is my goto.
Seems to be very quickly-absorbed, so you'll need to go over it a couple of times.
I use a sock puppet, to apply it neatly.
Since only one of the cars has window frames, I get through quite a bit of it, over a decade...
