Default Brake wind back kit

I am looking for a Honda adaptor for the Syker Pickavant brake wind back tool and it would appear that they no longer do these.

So had a look on ebay and have found numerous other makes, what make if any do any of you lot use ?? Or should I stop being silly and continue to use the piece of wood and G clamp ??

I got one from Halfrauds. I can't remember the make. If I recall (from sat at my desk), the bit that engages with the piston slots is reversible, and the smaller option fits the S2000 caliper piston. Anyway, however it works, I've used it to good effect

Rears?

I used to stick the flat edge of a bastard file in the groove on the piston and wind with that.

Fronts?

Use a G-cramp & bollox to the wood! They should need minimal force.

for the rears, a large flat bladed screw driver works perfectly for me. Or you can use a 3/8 drive extension in the centre of the cross in the pistion attached to a ratchet.

Brings back memories of sniggering at the back in metalwork class.

Can't you just use a G clamp? I did on my fronts. Are the rears different?

You have to wind the piston back against a thread on the rear calipers, as well as pushing it back. There is a slot across the middle of the piston's face that you can use to turn it (I use an allen key of about the same width as the slot to do this - it doesn't need a lot of force - wind it in clockwise).
