Default Brands was fun....but....

I came away with my rear brakes sounding like metal on metal. The pads were replaced last year and have done a few thousand miles at most. I'm thinking I must have sticking callipers

Had a friend timing me and I managed a 58.2 which I was quite happy with given the traffic and greasy track

I found that there isn't a braking zone at brands where it's fun to find out your brakes are fading. Most cause a rather large brown pants moment, especially paddock hill!!

I saw 2 other s2000's there. One a full on race car and the other was supercharged. Apparently the first to be done in the country

What brake pads were you using? Just standard road pads aren't up to track work, they overheat quickly.

If they are OEM pads it's likely to be the wear indicators - that noise tells you that you need to change your pads.

And if they are OEM pads, then you will wear through them quickly on track.

Everything adds up as it should!

I fitted a set of OEM rear pads to an S2000 at a trackday. An hour later they were 50% worn.

Alright then Senna, calm dowm!

To be fair, oem pads are fairly easy to wear down quick, more so with sticky calipers

They cant take heat, i moaned about this when i first got the car and never fitted them again.

You would notice a shitload of dust on your wheels if you'd overdone em

FEmudddafukkenRODO DS2500! Fantastic pads for the money. Braided lines and quality OEM spec discs. SuperBlue or Motul fluid. Tried and tested set up!

one-upmanship is it?

I once drove NEAR Oulton Park and ALL my brake pads instantly burst into flames
