Smile breaking my heart.....

So...having fought my wife for a year to keep hold of the s2000, o finally gave in and agreed to definitively sell it last week. A guy who will be joining up shortly will be taking it over, and whilst I hate having to pass it on, it has gone to someone who will care for it as well as I have (i hope!)

We've been through a lot together, and its been a fantastic car, but kids planned, and a band who need more space, means its an estate oil burner and a very boring driving experience for me next.

I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me over the last few years, and to Richard for selling me such a wonderful car.

Best of I know its going to someone who will enjoy it, but not having it in my life is horrible!

Best wishes to everyone for the future

Brad

I thought the same.
For similar reasons.

Take off the blinkers.
There are plenty of options, and many cheaper than running the S2K

Shame, though in 15 or 20 years you'll be regress. We have a ragtop each & a motorbike each too!
Love the kids, now they drive their own cars

My Integra DC2 serves as my band/bass amp car. Does a pretty good job too, apart from the high lip into the boot.

Make sure the drummer has the large car (unless you are the drummer)

Drummers don't need large cars - I used to get all my kit in the CRX easily enough (apart from the high lip which made the coffin a pain).

You can even fit it in/on an S2000

Wow ! I had some dealings of sorts with a well known drummer last year who had bought an E class Merc to get his stuff in .... the first car he had managed to fit everything in !

If I had the opportunity I could have pointed him towards an S2000

As to the OP's point - don't go away from here ... After 2 S2000's and numerous other cars I now have a 320d coupe .... which actually is not as boring as it sounds as you just keep your foot in the bucket everywhere .... corners, straights, roundabouts - it's wonderful ....
