the thread is right up inside the gear knob at the top so the spindle doesn't reach!

No doubt someone will make a rude comment about that!!

yes probably, but I don't think it would fit at all - it rattled about on the spindle.... anyway, it's not yellow......

Goodness me - what a shame the knob has split under duress (or should that be durex?) !!

Think you need to get a donor nob and powder coat it yellow.

going on the airbrush idea... TypeR Knob, have a bee airbrushed on the back side of it and laquered?
im thinking more of a detailing/signature type design than anything too in ur face...
