I use a Kent sponge with a webbed cover, cleans bugs and anything else I splatter right off.

I just spray some sindscreen cleaner and leave for a few minutes and then wipe off. This removes the bugs and then repeat to get a perfectly clear windscreen.

Every night I get home, I use the old Microfibre chammy and whiz over the windscreen and front of the car. Because I do it every night the don't bake on and its a breeze to do.

Otherwise boil your kettle on pour on the affected area. This loosens them up nicely before washing

I've often wondered whether it'd be possible to replace the standard windscreen nozzles with headlight nozzles which seem to give a much more powerful jet. That's what you need to shift those pesky bugs!

Haven't looked into it but I presume as both systems run off the same system the difference in exit pressure is solely down to different nozzle flowrates.

I just use the good old Hellfords sponge with the netting round it and it soons get ride of the buggers. I've used it both on the windscreen and paintwork and never had an issue in all the years i've been using them.
